DJ Colt Terms and Conditions

1. Booking Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after the deposit has been paid.

2. Booking Deposits: To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit amount will be communicated during the booking process, and the final balance is due before the event begins. Please contact me for various payment options.

3. Cancellation Policy: In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable; however, it can be transferred to another date if rescheduled in advance and availability allows.

4. Availability of Dates: If you need to change your booking date, I will make every effort to accommodate your request, but I cannot guarantee availability.

5. Cancellation by DJ: In the unlikely event that I have to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, I will work diligently to find a suitable replacement DJ. If unable to do so, I will fully refund all payments made.

6. Event Duration: The standard performance duration is up to 4.5 hours for events other than weddings. If additional time is required, please let me know, and we can discuss any applicable charges.

7. Code of Conduct: It is important to note that if any damage occurs to equipment, staff, or the venue, music will stop and the event will conclude immediately without a refund. The client or guest will be responsible for any damages.

8. Digital Photography: I may capture some fun photos during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer that no photos be shared, please inform me in advance.

9. Use of DJ Equipment: Guests using my equipment do so at their own risk and the client is responsible for ensuring that all guests treat it with care.

10. Medical Conditions: If any guests have medical issues, sound sensitivity, or light sensitivity, please inform me in advance to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.

11. Public Liability & Insurance: Safety is a priority, and I utilise quality equipment with properly taped cables. If required by your venue, I can provide proof of public liability insurance.

12. Additional Notes: The client is responsible for providing adequate shelter and floor space for the DJ and ensuring that all guests behave appropriately. DJ Colt will not be held accountable for unsuitable event locations or power outlets; this remains the responsibility of the event organiser or the initial contact made at the time of booking.
